Enrique Polanco

Carlos Enrique Polanco (1° Noviembre de 1953, Lima, Perú) Pintor egresado de la Escuela Nacional de Bellas Artes de Lima. Hace estudios de postgrado, becado, en el Instituto Central de Artes de Pekín, China; ha participado en muestras colectivas e individuales en el Perú y en el extranjero.Enrique Polanco dice: “Creo que la pintura debe ser mordaz. Mi obra tiene un silencio que grita”.

Recuerdo la primera vez que vi obras de Polanco en una galería, sus colores contrastados, atrevidos, encendían el lienzo. Sus personajes anodinos, eran importantes, caminaban orgullosos por las calles, posaban felices en matrimonios de formalización.

Carlos Enrique Polanco (Lima, 1953, Peru) Painter graduated from the National School of Fine Arts in Lima. It postgraduate, scholarship, at the Central Institute of Arts in Beijing, China, has participated in group and solo exhibitions in Peru and abroad.

Enrique Polanco says: “I think the painting should be scathing. My work has a silence that screams”.I remember the first time I saw Polanco works in a gallery, its contrasting colors, bold, lit the canvas. Its bland characters were important, they walked the streets proud, happy marriages posed formalization. I asked you a social painter? After seeing many of his works, I discovered that Polanco is delighted by its unique fabrics chromatic richness scenarios.​​
