Louis Armstrong
Louis Armstrong (Nueva Orleans, 4 de agosto de 1901 – Nueva York, 6 de julio de 1971), conocido como Satchmo y Pops, es un trompetista [INMORTAL] y cantante estadounidense de jazz.
Una de las figuras más carismáticas e innovadoras de la historia del jazz y su músico más popular. De gran habilidad musical y brillante personalidad, transformó el jazz desde su condición inicial de música de baile con raíces folclóricas en una forma de arte popular. Al inicio de su carrera construyó su fama como cornetista y trompetista, luego su condición de vocalista es la que le consagra como figura internacional de gran influencia para el canto jazzístico.
